Good morning, Florence.

Johnsonville High School senior Lilly Margaret Driggers has been named an Academic Achiever for January 2026 by The Post and Courier Pee Dee.

She balances dual enrollment, state singles tennis competition and community service at local events — and plans to study psychology at Francis Marion University.

SCHSL executive committee ruled on appeals from Grand Strand and Pee Dee schools - it denied Loris High’s 2A move and proposals from South Florence, West Florence and Marlboro County over enrollment and rivalry issues, with some schools given a 24-hour appeal window; rulings affect classifications from 2026 to 2028.
