  • The SC Emergency Management Division moved to OPCON 2 ahead of weekend winter weather + officials are activating local plans and urging residents to drive safely and prepare with extra supplies.  WPDE
  • Florence County emergency officials are preparing for a second weekend of winter weather with full staffing & extra road clearing plans as they consider opening an additional warming shelter. Authorities urge residents to ready space heaters and report outages or wrecks to stay safe on dangerously cold roads.  WMBF News
