- ➤ Two Darlington eateries are merging into one family restaurant on Cashua Drive and will open early March with a menu of pizza, pasta, ice cream plus arcade games for kids. The new location, at 1210 S Cashua Dr, aims to bring fun dining to Florence. The Post and Courier
- ➤ Florence restaurant Sundae House, at 1551 W. Palmetto St., will reopen in the second week of February after extensive repairs from an electrical fire. The eatery has served customers via its food truck during renovations — and it will soon offer its full menu again. The Post and Courier
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ GasBuddy data shows that average gasoline prices in South Carolina have dropped by 8.2 cents per gallon to $2.53, though prices remain slightly higher than a month ago and drivers saved 19 cents compared to last year + further fluctuations may occur. WPDE
