- ➤ Florence Police Department arrested John Mitchell after he allegedly fired his handgun on the 400 Block of Jarrott Street on Friday morning during an argument at Manna House—he faces charges of aggravated breach of peace and discharging a firearm with no injuries reported. WMBF News
- ➤ Police arrested Tiffany Prentice Cooper and John C. Smith after a four-hour standoff at a Florence home on Wednesday—CS gas was used to force them out—and they now face additional charges for failing to appear for probation, resisting arrest, and breach of peace. WPDE
