- ➤ Drivers are paying more at the pump today as the average gas price of $3.83 per gallon climbs amid the ongoing conflict in Iran. Rep. Russell Fry said the state should seek temporary relief while lawmakers consider a bill in committee to suspend the gas tax for 30 days. WPDE
- ➤ Road work began Sunday on Palmetto Street, affecting traffic and routes in Florence as Florence County Emergency Management advised drivers to take alternate routes & check local updates for delays. WPDE
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Florence County Parks and Recreation launched an esports league in 2019 to boost youth participation as traditional sports saw declining numbers.
