  • Wilson High senior Zion Mack earned recognition as a Post and Courier Pee Dee Academic Achiever after volunteering over 100 hours as a McLeod Junior Volunteer and leading his school band.   • Dr. Hari Rajagopalan has been named the J. Lorin Mason Distinguished Professor for the 2025-2026 academic year at Francis Marion University (FMU), a recognition of his work in management education. The announcement highlights his scholarly contributions.  SCNow

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close the northbound lane of I-95 at mile marker 175 over the Great Pee Dee River Tuesday for a bridge repair & safety check. Motorists should use alternate routes during the work.  WPDE
