- ➤ Authorities say that escaped inmate 32-year-old Ulysses Conner left his job at a Bojangles off Celebration Boulevard in Florence last Thursday and was captured Tuesday at a hotel near Charlotte-Douglas International Airport — he will be extradited back to face escape-inmate charges while his brother Roland Miley was arrested for aiding his escape. - ➤ The Florence County Sheriff’s Office said a suspect held two people hostage in a home on the 3900 block of Savannah Grove after a shooting on May 7 — deputies worked to talk him into coming out. WMBF News
