- ➤ On Sunday near Toledo Scale Road, a Cook Out employee and a customer argued and both pulled guns—deputies arrested them after the customer was shot and taken to the hospital. WMBF News

Joye is working with the 12th Circuit Solicitor's Office to close the Red Circle Lounge on South Irby Street after deputies answered five or six shooting incidents over the past few years, including a Saturday 2:30 p.m. event where one person was shot in the head and now remains in critical condition — he said the violence is not acceptable — as plans are made to revoke the club's alcohol license.
