- ➤ The Florence County Coroner's Office confirmed that 55-year-old Cassandra Alston died in a mobile home fire around noon on Tuesday in Florence and her body will be autopsied at the Medical University of South Carolina later this week. WPDE
- ➤ A dump truck driver died when his 2020 Freightliner left Hyman Road and hit a tree just before 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning in Florence County—about three miles west of Pamplico. WBTW
