- ➤ Deputies arrested an employee at the Above the Rest nursing home in Florence early Friday morning on two bench warrants for drug charges after a 911 call reported chest pains and missing staff, and state health officials were notified about facility staffing issues—his name will be released later Friday. - ➤ A 26-year-old man is accused of breaking into Olanta Pharmacy and stealing drugs and money—Florence County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred recently. SCNow
- ➤ Lake City police arrested two individuals on animal cruelty and drug charges after a code enforcement investigation found several dogs in poor condition — Quadez Franklin, 22 from Lake City and Tyrell Elmore, 28 from Conway are held in the Florence County Detention Center on a $55,000 bond.
