CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Deputies responded on June 13 to a report of a man firing his gun in his yard on Parkland Drive — one bullet struck a car — and after officers could not make contact for a welfare check, he later surrendered and will be charged with breach of peace and firing a weapon into an unoccupied vehicle. - ➤ Two men were arrested after they robbed a motel room at the Baymont Inn on Thursday night in Florence—Xavier Malik Blow, 38, and Keith Lavontai Cooper, 29, were charged with armed robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and conspiracy and are now held at the detention center.
