- ➤ Florence County Planning Commission approved a sketch plan for a new 49-home subdivision in West Florence at North Ebenezer Road and South Wessex Drive (near Magnolia Mall) and revised plans for an eastern subdivision near Old Marion Highway and East Palmetto Street to include 665 homes instead of 935. The two plans now total 714 new homes and remain subject to further procedural approvals (pending additional steps) before development begins. The Post and Courier
