- ➤ Police investigated a shooting on the 800 block of Bradford Street in Florence Friday morning—one person was rushed to the hospital and their condition remains unknown. WMBF News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ McLeod Health donated over $200,000 to support nursing programs at Francis Marion University—Florence-Darlington Technical College—and Coker University. Each school received $75,000 to expand accreditation and prepare nursing students for careers in healthcare. The Post and Courier

- ➤ Florence-Darlington Technical College announced Clint Moore as the new chairperson of the FDTC Area Commission.
