  • Florence City Council may loosen rules to let homeowners build granny flats — small accessory dwelling units on single-family lots in all residential zones.  SCNow

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Florence approved plans on August 12 for a townhome development near Lucy T. Davis Elementary School that will build 16 subdividable units on Westfield Drive and a five-lot infill subdivision near Timrod Park that will create five new single-family homes soon—adding needed housing to the city.  The Post and Courier
