- ➤ Francis Marion University started its 56th academic year with a funding boost that includes state appropriations, nonrecurring funds for building renovations and record scholarships of over $27M—faculty and staff received a pay raise for the 25th year in a row. The school also announced two new international study centers at the University of Prince Edward Island and Landau University in Rheinland-Pfalz to offer students more affordable global learning options.
