- ➤ Alex Rogers turned himself in Monday as the fourth suspect in connection with a Fairmont shooting that took place early on August 10 along Thompson Street—he faces three counts of first-degree attempted murder on a $3 million bond and one victim remains in stable condition at a hospital. WFXB
- ➤ Deputies arrested 19-year-old Jordan Walcott on Monday on charges of first-degree assault and battery and criminal conspiracy in connection with an attack on Candy Lane in Florence—18-year-old Lucas Davenport had been arrested earlier on similar charges with a bond set at $20,000. WMBF News
- ➤ Florence police are investigating an alleged assault that happened in recent days at a restaurant on West Palmetto Street — a video linked to the incident prompted the investigation. WPDE
- ➤ Deputies have arrested a second suspect in connection with an assault that occurred earlier this summer in Florence—he now faces charges. WMBF News
