- ➤ Florence police are investigating a shooting on Charles Street that occurred Tuesday around 8:00 p.m. when a man doing yard work was struck in the hand by a stray bullet amid reports that two suspects were firing guns—he is not believed to have been the target. WMBF News
- ➤ In June, police reported that 16-year-old Trey Wright was fatally shot on North First Neck Road in Johnsonville while friends tried to help him, and a 19-year-old suspect from Conway was arrested along with several other teens charged with the killing—leaving the community shaken. WPDE
- ➤ A Florence man is facing seven attempted murder charges after allegedly firing a gun into a home—Florence Police Department said. SCNow
- ➤ A person was hurt in a shooting Tuesday night near Kershaw Street in East Florence—police said the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and more details will be provided later. WPDE
