- ➤ The Cass Elias McCarter Guardian ad Litem Program seeks local volunteers in Florence County to support abused children in Family Court. It offers free online training on September 30 and requires volunteers to be 21 or older with a clean criminal and DSS history and a 4 to 5 hour monthly commitment—an effort to serve 133 children in need.
