  • HTC and Stella’s Ice Cream have partnered to launch a limited-edition flavor called Gigabyte Delight that is peanut butter based with chocolate pretzels, brownie pieces and toffee bits—part of the proceeds benefit Grand Strand Humane Society and the fundraiser runs through the end of the month.  WFXB

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Florence School District 3’s Board of Trustees approved the next phase of facility improvements and upgrades at its regular monthly meeting on Thursday evening.  SCNow

HEALTH NEWS

  • Dr. Robin Hudson (pediatrician at Tidelands Health) offered families safety tips for Halloween trick-or-treating and warned that drivers should be alert around 6:30 p.m. when the sun sets. She advised using glow-in-the-dark gear and planning a meeting spot in case someone gets separated.  WPDE

SPORTS NEWS

  • Football will return Friday night when Aynor High School meets Waccamaw High School in the Friday Night Rivals game airing on ABC15 and streaming live at wpde.com; Conway Medical Center will donate $5,000 in school grants and another sponsor will award a $5,000 scholarship to a scholar athlete at season's end.  WPDE
