- ➤ Thousands gathered downtown Florence for the 21st annual South Carolina Pecan Music and Food Festival where over 280 vendors offered food, rides, games and live music — the event featured a classic car show with more than 150 cars. Organized by the Florence Downtown Development Corporation, the festival began in 2004 and is expected to draw nearly 50,000 people. WPDE
