- ➤ Francis Marion University in Florence has appointed Jennifer Titanski-Hooper as its new vice president of research and community services—she will lead the school's research initiatives and coordinate community outreach programs. The Post and Courier
- ➤ Francis Marion University in Florence announced the Darla Moore Annual Forestry Scholarship—funded by the Darla Moore Foundation—to support full-time South Carolina students entering its new forestry program in fall. The scholarship, renewable with a minimum 2.75 GPA and 30 credit hours per year, will help train students in forest management and conservation. The Post and Courier
