Good morning, Florence.

Residents walked in solidarity on Saturday for north Florence's revitalization—joining city officials and local groups to kick off major projects aimed at improving housing, infrastructure and community landmarks.

City leaders announced a $25 million plan to replace old apartments with modern housing and to help fight poverty, drugs and violence.

The South Carolina Treasurer's Office returned $38 million in unclaimed money last year, and its Unclaimed Property Program is nearing $1 billion, urging residents to check if funds belong to them.
