- ➤ Florence residents will celebrate Thanksgiving in Timrod Park—organized by Bryan and Judy Ransom—as they join for a communal meal and gathering. SCNow
- ➤ Florence Mahjong, a local group led by Lauren Vause and Courtney Byrd, uses the Chinese game to raise money and goods for nonprofits in the Pee Dee. They raised over $13,000 at an October 21 event — and today hold a second fundraiser at Pieces on Celebration Blvd — asking players to donate canned goods for Manna House. The Post and Courier
